We registered ourselves 
into our first competition for the band. We came across this event quite by chance when we bumped into Jasmine at one of the gigs at Soundmaker.
Anyway, here we are, against other 12 great bands from all over Malaysia. It was a tough fight for everyone and the hardest job was for the judges where they had to pick one band to represent Malaysia.
We played 2 songs, Hey, Yo! and Cina Blues. Everyone was impressed with Ruth’s guitar skills and I have to say that she’s gained quite a few new fans from there and everyone said the same thing, a Fender that have a Gibson tone.
Needless to say, we didn’t win but what’s most important, we had fun and learned a lot from this event. Plus, we’ve made lots more friends from the other states and in return, they know who theRubberbands are now. 🙂
I guess that’s what matters for now, and that is exposure for the band and the gang.
